Although some of my methods are effective within a shorter length of time, the total number of sessions advised depends on the complexity of your needs.
Who is this for?
All adults 18 years and older who are open to and receptive to getting the help they deserve.
Therapies Used
I'm trained and certified in a number of therapies, including EMDR, CBT, and psychological assessments.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
This effective form of therapy designed for PTSD has been proven to work for addictions and other mental health issues.
When you have thoughts and feelings that are disturbing and interfere with your well-being, EMDR can help desensitize the negative emotions and change beliefs around them.
Often memories of traumatic events have not been processed properly by the brain. When these memories get triggered by a certain event or activity, they may cause you to feel very distressed—just like when the trauma first happened.
EMDR—when performed by a trained practitioner—can help you process these memories in a safe and effective manner to neutralize the negative emotions surrounding that trauma.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
This goal-oriented approach has been proven effective in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, as well as chronic pain, sleep, anger and relationship issues.
Using CBT, we’ll work together to help you recognize the issues causing stress in your day-to-day life. We’ll also focus on building skills and strategies to alter your negative thoughts and behaviours, giving you tools to better cope with your stress.
Here’s an example using two of the many strategies available:
Let’s say you’re frustrated with your inability to speak up for yourself around difficult people. Assertiveness Training
can show you how to get your needs met while still regarding the needs of others. In addition, better Communication Skills
can give you confidence to speak with others in a more productive way.

Psychological Assessments
I conduct Psychological Assessments for WSIB, Blue Cross, Veteran’s Affairs, First Nations, motor vehicle accidents and legal situations. They include a clinical interview, psychometric testing, a self-report, a file review and observation.

Receipts will be provided for private clients.
24-hours notice is required for all appointment cancellations. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for all missed appointments without 24-hours notice.
